Tie the Knot.
This ring set represents the connection to nature that we possess. The Engagement ring is in 18k rose gold, with an emerald in the centre. Emeralds signify the bond of love between two people and were traditionally the stone of Venus the god of love. The setting is Acer tree leaves, which turn a beautiful warm shade in the autumn. At the bottom of the setting, is a tied vine representing ‘tying the knot’ which is a common phase for marriage. The 18k white gold wed-fit ring is based upon a silver birch and an elder tree branch combined. The birch tree is commonly associated with new beginnings as it is the first tree to grow back after a forest has been burnt. The elder tree represents the link between life and death, and the connection with the mystical world, something I associate love with.
